The newly introduced Film Department at The International is yet another example of the unique and unprecedented approach we take in bringing news to a global audience.

Since its inception, film has been a remarkable tool used to inspire, motivate and enlist a proactive approach towards change. Both as narrative and documentary in style, films have an incredible power to speak in volumes to a person, a nation or, in some cases, the world. As one of the most widely used sources of media, film is a popular and praised medium for information on cultures and societies. The International is proud to branch out and become a part of the art, the drama and the power of film.

At The International Film Department, we intend to create films that follow The International’s Editorial Policy and raise awareness about key social issues. Our first documentary will enter the development stages in the coming months with a pre-production timeline to follow. Check back for updates.
