Libraries

The International offers an online journal that reports on global issues of conflict, poverty, environmental sustainability, illness, culture, and inequality. We offer a subscription service specifically for public and university libraries.

In each of our reports, we investigate the actions of all organizations involved, analyze different perspectives with impartiality, and report on various solutions proposed by experts. We are committed to the principles of accuracy, fairness, and integrity in all reporting.

Our journalists have completed studies in anthropology, economics, history, international relations, journalism, law, philosophy, political science, and psychology, allowing us to see the events through multiple fields of study. Our exceptional content is easily accessible and we help our readers to become more aware of important international issues, develop a better understanding of cultural differences, and acquire greater knowledge of various perspectives on issues.

We provide IP address authorization for access on campuses or in libraries and easy proxy for access at home. In the near future we will develop new features to make research even easier for users and increase the amount of content published. Our prices are as follows:

Full FTE                        Price
40,000+                       $2,500 / year
30,000 – 39,999       $2,000 / year
20,000 – 29,999       $1,500 / year
10,000 – 19,999        $1,000 / year
1 – 9,999                       $500 / year

We are not part of a database; we offer a standalone subscription because we want to provide more services and greater value to our users:

- Professors often access our website directly in order to provide additional material in class.
- The International is not only for research. Students access it daily to learn about new topics.
- We want to offer the full experience of reading The International with all of the website’s features.

We offer phone and email support to all staff and users 12 hours a day and 7 days a week, a free newsletter for all users who wish to sign up, and we are currently developing a discussion forum for students and professors to discuss assigned research projects.

The International is an indispensable addition to your international news or social issues collections.

Send us an email through our contact form in order to inquire about our service.
